How to Set Up Brain Waves to Achieve Targeted Mental Activity

Brain wave

By knowing that every level of human brain waves are able to follow the sound vibrations through the ears, visual through the eyes, or other signals through the sense (hands, body), we able to set our brain waves to achieve the positive mental activity goals (increase IQ, motivation, learning fast, meditation, supernatural activities, treat or improve health care for those who suffer from ADHD, ADD or Autism, insomnia and so on).

Unfortunately for achieving them directly is not easy because of the limitations of human hearing and vision. Humans can only hear sound frequencies between 20 Hz - 20 kHz. Effective hearing limit will be different for each person (man, woman or child). but in fact humans tipically can only hear between 50 Hz - 8 kHz only.

So, how sound frequency received and heard by the right and left ear can be respond properly by the brain (central nervous) and translated into alpha, beta, theta and/or delta waves?

There are several methods that have been developed by experts:

1. Binaural beats

Binaural beats were first discovered and investigated by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove in 1839. The basic principle is that if two waves of frequencies f1 and f2 (right and left ear) combined into one, it would be mathematically obtained the following results: • the fundamental frequency f1 and f2. • or odd harmonic multiples of the frequency 3f1, 5f1 and 3f2 and so on 5f2 • difference and the sum of both the basic frequency (f1 - f2) and (f1 + f2).

Depending on the mathematical application, the use and calculation of the brain (central nervous) then responded "only" f1 and f2 as traditional voice and (f1 - f2) which will be responded by the brain (central nervous) as gamma, beta, alpha, theta or delta. For example, f1 = 400 Hz and f2 = 410 hz, then f2 - f1 = 10 Hz. The brain response the result as alpha waves, then the difference between the two different frequencies is called a binaural beats.

2. ISOCHRONICS wave (monaural beats)

Because binaural beats required stereo headphone or the installation of special loudspeakers, this method becomes less effective and has less powerful effects on the brain (central nervous). Experts then selected other better way, namely Isochronics system.

At isochronic wave, the sound is heard both the left and right ears will have same sound frequency and amplitude, just the two signals are modulated with impulses / switch on / off (on / off) with brain wave limitation rhythms (beta, alpha, theta . Delta) is adjusted to target desired mental activity.

Brain wave stimulation sent to the brain (nerve center) through the five senses (ear or eye), so the brain (central nervous) will respond den follow (resonance) in accordance with the rhythm of the wave types (beta, alpha, theta, delta or gamma).

Stimulation of brain waves using isochronic system better than binaural beats as:

Binaural beats require stereo headphones, while isochronic only need a mono or mono-1 headphones or speakers. Response of the brain (central nervous) a lot stronger if you use isochronics method.

3. Stimulation of light through the eye

Brain wave stimulation can also through light or through the eye with moving images or animated (eyelids open) or closed eyes by turning on and off light in black / white or color (light penetrates the eyelids using Audio equipment strobe LED Glasses), which is adapted to the rhythm brain waves (beta, alpha, theta, delta), in other words, air-blinking - blinking or functions are.

With the response of the brain (central nervous), resulting in the emergence of electric impuls2 diotak (2 ~ 10 microvolt) called CERs (Cortical Evoked Response), which can be read by the EEG (electroenchepalogram) for inspection effectiveness, testing and monitoring.

4. Frequency Following Response (FFR)

FFR is the response of the brain that follow sound signal (isochronics or binaural beat) or images (visual) from outside the body, to achieve the desired target ( through meditation, healing, sleep well, learn quickly, and so on).
